Star Wars
Andor: Season 2 of Andor emerged as the primary Star Wars highlight, featuring a few significant updates. Initially, the show's title has been slightly adjusted from Star Wars: Andor to Andor: A Star Wars Story, in line with the branding of Rogue One, the film that served as the series' inspiration. Season 2 is anticipated to seamlessly tie into the events of Rogue One, similar to the film's direct transition into the beginning of A New Hope. Fans were also given a premiere date: Andor Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in the U.S., and Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in the UK (accounting for the time zone difference). Furthermore, it was confirmed that characters Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) and K-2SO (Alan Tudyk) from Rogue One will make appearances in the upcoming season.
The Mandalorian & Grogu: Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have announced exciting news regarding the upcoming Mandalorian movie, which is now officially in production and is scheduled to be released on May 22, 2026. During a presentation at D23, a teaser reel was shown showcasing new scenes of Din Djarin and Grogu battling snowtroopers, massive AT-ATs in a snowy landscape, and Star Wars Rebels’ Zeb Orrelios in action. The teaser concluded with Grogu accompanied by two small Anzellans. Additionally, it was confirmed that Sigourney Weaver will be joining the cast, a role she had previously hinted at during an interview.

Captain America: Brave New World: Marvel's Captain America: Brave New World has released a new trailer ahead of its theatrical debut on February 14, 2025. Anthony Mackie stars as Captain America, alongside Danny Ramirez as Falcon, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Giancarlo Esposito as Seth Voelker (also known as Sidewinder), and Harrison Ford as Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, who may undergo a Red Hulk transformation in the film. Liv Tyler and Tim Blake Nelson return as Betty Ross and Samuel Sterns, respectively, reprising their roles from The Incredible Hulk (2008). The plot follows Sam Wilson as he is drawn into an international conflict after a meeting with President Ross, where he must uncover the mastermind behind a global conspiracy.
Thunderbolts: The film Thunderbolts is set to be released in theaters on May 2, 2025, and a "special look" clip was unveiled during the event. The cast includes Florence Pugh portraying Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Wyatt Russell playing John Walker, David Harbour as Red Guardian, and others such as Julia Louis-Dreyfus in the role of Valentina Allegra de Fontaine and Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross. What If..? Season 3: Disney+ will debut the third and last season of What If..? on December 22, 2024. Ice Age 6: Disney announced that Ice Age 6 is scheduled to be released in 2026, featuring the original voice cast including Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Queen Latifah, Denis Leary, and Simon Pegg for this fresh adventure.
Toy Story 5: Toy Story 5, which fans have been eagerly awaiting, is scheduled to premiere in cinemas on June 19, 2026.
