Chelsea goes live for a behind‐the-scenes look at her photo shoot. She vents to Kat that Dani will take out everything happening to her on her. Meanwhile, Vanessa is having tea with Dani and Nicole—she can’t believe they’re actually going to the wedding. She was surprised when Anita called about it. Nicole explains that Dani invited them to show they’re unbothered and remind everyone of Bill and Haley’s duplicity.
Bill approaches Naomi at the park. He replies that he’s after a bit of respect when she asks what he wants. At the same time, Haley asks Dani what she can do to be forgiven. Dani just gives her a look; she doesn’t believe Haley really cares. Haley isn’t expecting friendship, just a civil relationship. Dani tells her it isn’t her job to make her feel comfortable and that she plans to ensure Haley moves far away from Fairmont Crest. Vanessa remarks that Dani handled that well, but Nicole senses something is brewing. Later, Leslie calls Nicole’s office. Mona answers, thinking it’s Laura, and tells Leslie she’s worried—Laura never misses work like this. Leslie reassures her.
Vanessa then walks Nicole out and flags Diego, a trainer, down to schedule a session. We fade to Bill and Naomi: Naomi doesn’t hold back, telling him she doesn’t forgive him. He tries to make things right, but she says she isn’t interested in anything he has to say—she considers him dead to her.
Back in Nicole’s office, Mona tells her about Laura just as Ted calls to say that Laura is in the hospital. At the shoot, Dani breezes in and tells Chelsea she doesn’t like the hair. Despite Chelsea’s protests, Dani fixes it. Andre approaches and flirts with Dani, and she remarks that she could have been bigger than Naomi Campbell—until Bill walked into her life.
Bill tells Naomi that she's succeeded if she wants to hurt him with her words. Naomi doesn’t let up; she dresses him down and calls him the most disgusting cliché in the book. Bill tries to explain, but Naomi fires back that it isn’t about the divorce—it’s about him flaunting Haley in her mother’s face. He defends himself by saying Haley had her heart set on the country club and that he’s lived in Fairmont Crest for decades. Naomi holds his feet to the fire; Bill demands respect, and she tells him she doesn’t owe him any, adding that if he doesn’t like it, he can turn around and walk away—and he does.
Ted and Ashley check in with Laura. Ted tells her she’ll be fine, but Laura insists she doesn’t need this. Nicole needs her, too, as she was planning a trip to Maui, yet Laura says she can’t be out of commission for six to eight weeks. Nicole comes in and tells her she needs to heal, asking what happened. Laura explains, and Ted and Nicole say it sounds deliberate. Ted adds that he’ll call Jacob.
Leslie smiles as Mona calls her. She answers and pretends not to know what happened, feigning concern. Mona explains that she’ll be out of commission for weeks and doesn’t understand who would want to hurt that sweet girl. Leslie comments that people are nuts. Later, Haley shows up late to Bill’s office and is surprised with a wedding shower.
At the shoot, Dani criticizes Chelsea, and Andre defends her. Dani tells Chelsea that the shoes have to go. Chelsea protests that she likes the ones she’s wearing, but Dani insists. Chelsea later vents to Kat that this is why she hates the job—it erases her. Meanwhile, Laura tells Ashley that her boyfriend, Dave, is coming. Ashley sits with her as she cries, admitting she thought she was dead. Nicole comes in, and she and Ted make sure her treatment is free. Laura apologizes, but Nicole tells her she has nothing to apologize for—some maniac ran her off the road. We fade to Leslie and Mona talking; Leslie asks how they will get through the project without Laura. Mona says she will call the temp agency, and Leslie proposes that Eva step in. Mona likes the idea, and Leslie adds that being exposed to Nicole will give Eva some clarity. Mona agrees it could make her life easier and tells her to have Eva call her.
Back at the shoot, Andre suggests to Dani that she should sit it out, but Dani says it’s her job to guide Chelsea. Andre teases that what she’s doing is sucking the fun out of the process. They agree, and the shoot goes off without a hitch. Kat live streams the event, Dani applauds, and Chelsea thanks Andre, who says she has something special—just like her mother. Then, she and Kat run off while Dani and Andre flirt; Dani even invites him to have a drink with her.
Later, Chelsea and Kat are at the bar celebrating the successful shoot. Kat tells her she was awesome and that Ebony Magazine will be thrilled. Ashley and Derek share a table with Naomi and Jacob at the same bar. They talk about the wedding, and Naomi tells them about her encounter with Bill, promising she will hold him accountable. At the wedding party, we see Tomas, and Haley gives a speech. In her speech, she isn’t portrayed as a wilted flower—there’s more to her than she lets on.
Dani tells Andre that while Chelsea can be a real sourpuss, he managed to light her up. She then informs him that she’ll attend the wedding tomorrow and asks if he has been summoned. He tells her he isn’t a Dupree—he’s not by blood or extension. She teases, asking if he’s coming on to her, and he flirts back.
At the bar, Kat has to leave and Chelsea tells her it’s okay. A guy she had been eyeing approaches her. Ashley then talks about her first patient, Laura, mentioning that it’s a lot of pressure and wonders if she made a mistake. They reassure her that although it’s scary, she needs to trust her gut. Jacob shares that he finally has a partner, Marcel Malone, and Ashley falls asleep at the table.
Bill thanks his paid employees for their support, and soon Haley and Bill wrap up the party—they need to get ready for the big day as confetti is popped. Meanwhile, at the studio, Andre looks at one of Chelsea’s shots and tells her that she jumps off the page. She explains that she walked away, and he retorts that Bill is a fool. He tells her she’s one of the sexiest women he’s ever seen and asks her to dance with him. They kiss.
Derek carries a sleeping Ashley inside and puts her to bed. She wakes up asking what happened, mortified that she fell asleep, but then she gets a second wind and they make out. Jacob comforts Naomi, who is glad that it will be over soon. Jacob mentions that her father won’t let her go easily; she says he chose Haley and now must live with the consequences. Meanwhile, Haley gushes about her wedding night and one has to wonder if it is that an anvil. Bill gives her an expensive bracelet.
Andre and Dani slow dance, and she tells him he’s starting to be very good for her ego. He tells her to forget about Bill and remember who she was in those photos—and who she still is. She leads him to the bedroom, and we welcome back slow, sexy love scenes.
