Bold and the Beautiful opens in the CEO office, where Steffy feels secure after cutting the line and believes Hope must stay away from Finn. Meanwhile, Hope discusses her job loss and misunderstanding with Carter. Finn, at Deacon’s restaurant, discusses Steffy and Hope’s issues with Deacon, who urges him to speak to Steffy. Finn defends Steffy, blaming Hope’s actions instead.
Steffy grows suspicious of Carter’s loyalties, wondering if Hope has influenced him. Hope and Carter discuss keeping their connection secret, but Brooke enters, warning Carter to be cautious as things could backfire. Hope, however, believes in Carter’s ability to sway Ridge.
Later, Carter apologizes to Ridge and Steffy for his earlier outburst, pleading for Hope for the Future to be reinstated. Despite his passionate pitch, they refuse, feeling he’s backing Hope too strongly. Ridge and Steffy discuss Carter’s actions privately, and Finn enters to update them on Deacon’s plea, which he ultimately rejected.
Hope remains optimistic about Carter, but Brooke tempers her expectations. When Carter returns to say his efforts failed, he expresses frustration over the Forrester vs. Logan divide. He apologizes to Hope, who reassures him, and they share a meaningful moment.
Alone in the office, Steffy deletes Hope’s profile from Forrester. Hope, disheartened, feels Steffy keeps getting away with undermining her.
