Brooke grows curious and asks what Carter is risking but praises his support of Hope.
Carter asks if there’s an issue. Ridge, still uneasy, shares his concerns but ultimately signs the document. Taylor interrupts, and Steffy dismisses Ridge’s hesitation, assuring him of Carter’s loyalty. Later, Ridge discusses Carter’s latest actions with Steffy and Taylor, questioning his motives while affirming his respect for him.
Hope confides in Brooke about how Logans are held to a higher standard and nearly reveals her plan with Carter. When Carter joins Hope, Brooke excuses herself, leaving them to talk. Carter tells Hope he tried to advocate for her but failed. Hope asks if the LLC papers are signed, and Carter admits they are, giving him control of Forrester Creations instead of Ridge and Steffy. He wrestles with guilt but recalls Steffy’s harsh treatment of Hope, including calling her a “bitch.”
