At the cabin, Brooke overhears Carter and Hope discussing their plan to secretly make Carter the manager of Forrester Creations, behind Ridge’s back. Unbeknownst to Ridge and Steffy, when they signed the papers, they unintentionally gave Carter full control of the company. As Carter tells Hope, “If we do this, Forrester will be ours to run,” Brooke breathes deeply, realizing the magnitude of their scheme.
Meanwhile, at Forrester, Taylor and Ridge have a quiet conversation. Ridge checks in on her, and she expresses how much stronger she’s feeling. They laugh about how transparent their daughter Steffy is when it comes to their relationship. Taylor affirms that she understands Ridge is with Brooke, and nothing can come between them. Ridge reassures her that he will always care.
At Il Giardino, Will and Electra share a flirtatious moment. Will assures her that even if she ordered pizza with anchovies, he would still kiss her. Their easy chemistry is interrupted by the stalker, who watches them from a distance. Electra and Will toast, and Deacon arrives, meeting Electra for the first time. When he learns she works on Forrester's new jewelry line, the stalker observes as Deacon interacts with them. Will, undeterred, takes Electra’s hand and tells her he could stare at her all day. As the evening continues, Deacon leaves to handle a crisis, and Will remains smitten, expressing his desire to learn everything about her.
Back at the cabin, Hope and Carter wrestle with guilt over their actions. Carter is determined to protect Hope after Steffy’s interference, but Hope confesses she'd rather see the company crumble than work alongside Steffy again. As they discuss their next move, Carter wonders if they can really take over Forrester Creations.
In Forrester’s main office, Taylor and Ridge discuss business matters. Ridge admits Brooke is upset about Steffy firing Hope, but their conversation is cut short when Brooke walks in. Ridge immediately senses something is wrong, and Brooke says it’s about the recent company restructuring. She tells him that the papers Carter drew up gave him complete authority over Forrester Creations. Ridge, who trusted Carter as the tax advisor, is initially unaware of the full scope of what he signed.
Brooke reveals that when she overheard Hope and Carter discussing the LLC papers, she learned that Carter’s name was included. This means Carter now has full control of Forrester, and Brooke fears that it was all part of a calculated move—what she describes as a “coup.” Ridge, shocked by this revelation, realizes that Carter has now taken control of the company, leaving him and Steffy vulnerable. Brooke insists that Ridge must understand the magnitude of the situation, especially since Carter played them all.
