At Forrester Creations, in the design office, Will confronts Katie about Electra’s firing. He feels it’s unfair that no explanation has been given and insists they deserve to know the reason. Will questions whether Electra’s firing has anything to do with her not being a Forrester, but Katie denies it. She asks how well Will truly knows Electra and assures him she isn’t trying to dismiss his feelings. Will defends Electra, saying she hasn’t bad-mouthed the company—she’s just hurt and confused. He makes it clear he won’t turn his back on her like the Forrester Creations did.
At Deacon’s restaurant, Ivy and Electra are talking. Ivy encourages Electra to eat, but their conversation shifts to her firing. Neither can understand why she lost her job. Remy enters and notices Electra is upset. When she tells him she was fired, he tries to comfort her, saying that LA is often shallow and even the Forresters—Steffy, Ridge, and Eric—have faced losses. Ivy and Remy continue to support Electra. Before leaving, Remy reassures her that he’ll never abandon her.
Alone, Electra breaks down in tears. Deacon offers her some advice, trying to lift her spirits. When Electra wants to use the bathroom, Deacon explains it’s under maintenance and, as a favor to Remy, offers her access to his apartment bathroom.
