The Bold and the Beautiful opens in the CEO office, where Ridge informs Steffy that Carter has been fired. Meanwhile, Hope and Brooke discuss Carter’s dismissal and Ridge’s disappointment.
At Katie and Will’s, they talk about Electra, who soon arrives. At Deacon’s restaurant, Remy looks at a picture of Electra. Sheila enters, and Remy thanks her and Deacon for giving him a job.
Katie discusses the success of the jewelry line campaign, with Electra agreeing and praising Ivy’s contributions. Electra mentions reconnecting with an old friend. At the same time, Remy confides in Sheila about moving to L.A. to reconnect with someone he misses. Sheila teases him, asking if it’s for a girl. After she leaves, Remy looks at more pictures.
Hope tells Brooke about Carter’s firing. Brooke says the situation is awful, but Ridge blames Hope for everything. Brooke insists Carter’s leadership had merit but admits Ridge is upset.
Ridge tells Steffy that Carter can no longer enter the Forrester building and has lost his position as COO. He accuses Carter of being too involved with Hope, claiming Carter sided with her and made her the victim. Steffy agrees Carter should have known better and apologizes to Ridge but maintains that this is all Hope’s fault.
Will and Electra visit Deacon’s restaurant, where Sheila introduces herself and seats them. She mentions a new server—Remy—who then joins them. Will immediately appears distrustful as Remy and Electra explain their past connection.
Brooke tells Hope that Ridge’s perspective on Carter has changed and that Hope is being made out as the villain, much like how Steffy acts. Hope defends Carter’s leadership and ideas, saying they were dismissed unfairly. Brooke says she won’t let them pin everything on Hope.
Later, Steffy confronts Hope at the cabin. The two exchange heated words. Steffy accuses Hope of using Carter and ruining his career, claiming she destroyed his friendship with Ridge and turned him against Forrester Creations. Hope counters that
Carter only wanted his ideas to be heard, but the Forresters pushed back.
Steffy lashes out, calling Hope toxic and blaming her for trouble with Thomas, Finn, and now Carter. She declares that Hope will never be part of Forrester Creations again.
