On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful, tensions continued to rise in the Forrester world. Hope and Steffy clashed in the design office, with Steffy pointing out that Brooke seemed less than thrilled about the Forrester family’s exclusion. Hope, however, remained optimistic, confident that the jewelry line’s launch that day would prove she and Carter made the right move for the company’s future. Hope couldn’t wait to celebrate the success with the man she loved.

Meanwhile, Steffy and Daphne joined Eric, Taylor, and Ridge at the Forrester mansion, awaiting the jewelry line’s debut. Eric, though supportive of the line, knew that credit would be given to Hope and Carter, not them. Ridge reminded the group that Brooke was equally complicit in the betrayal. Finn, still grappling with the Luna news, tried to reach out to Steffy but struggled with how to break the news to her. He texted and called, expressing his love for her and stressing the importance of their conversation.

Back at Forrester Creations, excitement built for the jewelry line launch. The CEO’s office buzzed with anticipation, with Brooke, Katie, Zende, Will, and Carter gathered for the big moment. Ivy joined in virtually, checking in and supporting the event. Before things kicked off, Electra presented Carter with a beautiful glass heart necklace she’d commissioned, a Valentine’s Day gift for Hope. Carter was touched, confident that Hope would love it.

Brooke, sensing Carter’s inner conflict, confronted him about his conscience. She reminded him that, despite the situation, he was still a good man. Carter, however, felt conflicted and bitter about being sidelined by Ridge. Brooke reassured him that Ridge valued their friendship, but Carter’s doubts lingered.

Hope, full of enthusiasm, addressed the room, praising Carter’s leadership and vision for the future of Forrester Creations. She made it clear that the jewelry line’s success was proof of what they could achieve together. As the launch unfolded, international sales flooded in, and Hope couldn't contain her excitement. However, Carter appeared distant, a far cry from the man she expected him to be. The tension in the room was palpable.

As the celebration continued, Carter, deep in thought, found himself questioning the price of success. Alone with Hope in the CEO’s office, his guilt surfaced. Carter admitted that he was struggling with the fact that the success came at the cost of his relationships with Eric, Steffy, and Ridge. Hope tried to console him, reminding him that they had taken bold steps and dared to dream when others had been too afraid to do so.

But Carter’s heart wasn’t in it. He confessed that he had manipulated Ridge and Steffy into signing the LLC papers and felt guilty about betraying his friends. Hope couldn’t believe what she was hearing and angrily told him that apologizing to Ridge and Steffy wasn’t an option. Their history of humiliation and betrayal was too much for Carter to swallow.

Tears filled Carter’s eyes as he stood at the desk, overwhelmed by guilt and sorrow. Hope, frustrated and heartbroken, reminded him that he had promised to stand by her. But Carter couldn’t see a way forward. He reached for the jewelry box he had prepared for Hope, but she snapped at him, insisting that now was not the time. She couldn’t go back to the way things were. In an emotional outburst, Hope stormed out of the office, leaving Carter holding the broken heart necklace, sobbing. As he gazed around the office at Eric and Ridge’s pictures, he pounded the desk in frustration, cutting his palm in the process.

Sitting at the desk, Carter stared at his bloodied hand and the shattered necklace. He was alone, consumed by the weight of his choices. The sound of someone in the doorway startled him. It was Ridge, who ominously remarked, "Heavy is the head that wears the crown, Carter."
