Brendan Fraser is set to play Supreme Allied Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower in the upcoming D-Day movie "Pressure."
The film, produced by Working Title and Studiocanal, will also star BAFTA winner Andrew Scott as Britain’s Chief Meteorological Officer James Stagg. Directed by Anthony Maras (Hotel Mumbai), "Pressure" focuses on the tense 72 hours leading up to the Normandy landings during World War II, highlighting the critical weather forecasts that influenced the decision to proceed with the invasion.
The screenplay, co-written by Maras and Olivier Award winner David Haig, is based on Haig’s acclaimed play.
The movie is slated to start filming in the UK in September.
