Candace Cameron Bure is bringing double the holiday cheer to Great American Family this season with two new Christmas movies. Cameron Mathison joins her for Home Sweet Christmas.
In A Christmas Less Traveled, Bure stars as a down-on-her-luck business owner who sets out on a life-changing road trip. The film follows her journey of self-discovery and transformation.
Home Sweet Christmas, Bure plays Sophie Marlow, a successful attorney who returns to her hometown, Waynesbridge, Washington, after her great uncle's death. She inherits 60% of Marlow Maple Meadows, a large sugar maple forest, and reconnects with Sam (Cameron Mathison), her childhood friend who inherits the remaining 40%. As they both consider selling the property, they rediscover their past and face the emotional challenge of letting go.
Originally, the network planned to produce a different movie titled Jingle Bells, Wedding Bells, but has opted to move forward with Home Sweet Christmas instead.
Both movies will be part of Great American Family's “Great American Christmas” lineup, continuing Bure's tradition of executive-producing and starring in holiday films for the network. She has previously worked on A Christmas… Present and My Christmas Hero, as well as served as an EP for other Christmas specials.
