Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny are officially set to star in the second season of Netflix's acclaimed dark comedy BEEF. Although Netflix has yet to make an official announcement or confirm the renewal for Season 2, both actors have openly discussed their involvement in the project.
Melton, known for his roles in Riverdale and May December, expressed his enthusiasm in an interview with VMAN, calling the material some of the best he's read and hinting at exciting developments for his role. Season 1 of BEEF, featuring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, garnered significant acclaim and numerous awards, including at the Golden Globes and Emmys. The show is pitched as an anthology series, with each season potentially featuring new characters and storylines. Creator Lee Sung Jin has hinted at the possibility of continuing the series in various forms if Netflix decides to move forward, though nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
In the meantime, fans can look forward to seeing Melton and Spaeny bring new dynamics to the show, and we’ll likely hear more details as Netflix makes its official announcements.
