'Chicago Med' Season 10 Episode 3 Recap: "Trust Fall"

Ripley says all it proves is that you are a person that can’t be trusted. Outside the hospital Goodwin and Charles discuss Ripley being cleared by the board because someone came forward to clear Ripley so his job is in the clear. Stepping closer to the ED there is pandemonium. Goodwin and Charles part as Goodwin seeks out Maggie. Goodwin asks what is going on? Maggie informs Goodwin that Gaffney hit capacity this morning. This means the admitted patients in the ED can’t go upstairs abd the paramedics can’t bring anyone new into the ED because they are full and the ambulances can’t leave. Goodwin says she will try to elevate some of the pressure on the ED.

They bring the baby up on the monitor Asher says that the baby girl is big, but everything looks normal. The patient looks annoyed because she is being told there is nothing wrong and she is having pain. Dr. Asher says pain is normal, but she will run further tests to be sure and leaves the room with the patient rolling her eyes because again she feels unseen. Goodwin is smoothing over patients when she opens the note given to her by Maggie earlier. It’s a death threat!!
