Dark Matter Is Coming Back for Season 2 at AppleTV+

Dark Matter fans have something to celebrate as the streamer renewed the show for a second season. The first season finished in June with nine episodes to good reviews.

The show is based on the novel by Blake Crouch who had this to say about the renewal news:

In the process of writing and filming season one, we discovered that there’s so much more story to tell, and we’ve only scratched the surface of these characters as they fight for survival and to find their way home through a landscape of mind-bending realities. See you in the Box!”

Playing the role of Jason Dessen, a physicist, professor, and devoted family man, Joel Edgerton finds himself abducted into a parallel reality while walking home in Chicago. He must then unravel the mystery of how to return to his own life, all the while facing obstacles from unknown adversaries. The cast also includes Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi, Jennifer Connelly, and Oakes Fegley.
