Fake Rafe enjoys making breakfast when Jada joins him. Just as they’re about to kiss, EJ arrives unexpectedly. He claims he’s checking in on Jada but takes jabs at her over Rachel’s case before leaving. Once Jada departs, EJ confronts Arnold, accusing him of getting too close to Jada. Arnold assures him nothing happened. EJ pushes Arnold to focus on their plan: using Rafe’s doppelgänger to expose Jada and get her fired, paving the way for “Rafe” to reclaim his old job.
Meanwhile, Sarah frets over keeping secrets from Xander, trying to protect him from becoming like his father. At Titan, Xander enthusiastically proposes working with Philip to build something great. Philip hesitates but eventually agrees—partly due to Sarah’s ultimatum. They debate the ethics of taking advantage of the chaos surrounding Kristen and Rachel’s disappearance. Xander is eager to strike against DiMera, while Philip worries about crossing a line. Ultimately, Philip agrees, and the Kiriakis brothers set their sights on DiMera, ready to launch their risky plan.
Elsewhere, Sarah updates Kayla on Bonnie’s condition and her own readiness to return to work. Kayla happily reinstates her, though she confides doubts about Philip, calling him “broken.” Meanwhile, Jada checks in on Bonnie and Justin, who now suspects her fall wasn’t accidental. Could it be linked to the mysterious cupcakes? The mystery deepens as Jada vows to get to the bottom of it.
In the final moments, EJ reminds Arnold that the wedding must go on, promising it will be “an affair to remember.” Meanwhile, Alex and Stephanie reflect on Bonnie’s strange text—and the dangerous puzzle it may unlock.
