Brady’s Guilt and Ava’s Past
Ava consoles a guilt-ridden Brady, who blames himself for Rachel’s struggles. Ava admits she feels partly responsible too but shares a heartbreaking story about her abusive childhood, which helps Brady see things differently. However, when she looks for her treasured Blake scrapbook, it’s missing.
Rachel’s Runaway Plan
Rachel, hiding in a dilapidated room, meets a mysterious “Woman in White.” The woman sympathizes with Rachel’s situation and manipulates her into plotting to remove Ava from the picture. Together, they lure Ava to the hideout using Rachel’s fake distress call. Ava calls Brady to update him but heads to the location without waiting for his response. Brady, distracted by JJ’s visit, misses the voicemail. At the hideout, Ava arrives only to be ambushed by Rachel and the Woman in White.
Chad, Julie, and Marlena
At the Horton house, Chad pushes The Spectator to prioritize Rachel’s disappearance. Julie, still grieving Doug, resists suggestions to see Marlena but eventually agrees to a session after Chad’s encouragement. At Marlena’s office, Cat discusses her feelings for Chad, lingering from her time pretending to be Abigail. Marlena reassures her, but tension arises when Chad and Julie arrive. Julie tearfully opens up during her session, expressing her deep sadness and reluctance to move on, though
Marlena promises to help.
Kristen remains fixated on blaming Ava for Rachel’s disappearance, while Brady narrowly misses Ava’s voicemail which is static unfortunately. Meanwhile, Ava encounters danger at the hideout as Rachel and the Woman in White put their sinister plan into motion.
