Joy and Alex wake up together, and Joy jokes about Alex not being married. Chanel surprises Paulina by emerging from the guest room, revealing she left Johnny because he cheated—with Joy. She clarifies they didn’t sleep together but considers the kiss and fooling around as cheating. Paulina sympathizes with her, and Chanel declares she won’t forgive him. Paulina encourages her to freshen up and feel better.
When Abe returns home, Paulina updates him about Johnny and Chanel. She doubts Chanel will forgive Johnny anytime soon.
JJ and Gabi wake up to a noise caused by Javi dropping something. Javi introduces himself to JJ, and they have breakfast together, discussing their New Year’s Eve. Gabi teases Javi about lingering feelings for Leo before he heads to the gym. JJ considers leaving but decides to spend the day with Gabi instead.
Stephanie dreams about Alex but wakes up next to Phillip. When he questions her, she admits the dream was about Alex. Phillip feels hurt, thinking Stephanie isn’t over Alex. He suggests they cut their losses, but Stephanie reassures him she wants to move on and appreciates their night together. They share breakfast, enjoy each other’s company, and agree to have dinner later. Before leaving, Phillip kisses her, but they’re interrupted by Alex. Alone, Stephanie and Alex exchange New Year’s wishes.
Johnny calls Chanel, surprised when she answers. He tries to talk, but she hangs up and spots Joy, ready to confront her.
