At the DiMera mansion, Ava confronted Kristen about harassing her with anonymous texts. Kristen denied sending them, even as Ava revealed Steve had traced the messages to the mansion. When Rachel overheard the argument, she jumped in, defending Kristen and telling Ava to leave. Once Ava stormed out, Kristen turned to Rachel, suspecting her involvement. Rachel admitted to sending the texts, hoping to push Ava out of Brady’s life and reunite her parents. Though touched by her daughter’s loyalty, Kristen confiscated Rachel’s phone and warned her against such schemes.
Meanwhile, at John and Marlena’s, Tate confided in Brady about his fears over impending fatherhood and guilt about the situation with Holly and Sophia. Their discussion was interrupted by Sophia’s mother, Amy, who pushed for Tate and Sophia to marry. Brady stood firm, asserting the teens weren’t ready for marriage despite Amy’s strong convictions. Afterward, Brady reassured Tate of his support but urged him to address things with Holly.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Holly was reeling from Sophia’s unexpected visit. Sophia apologized for the situation but revealed she was keeping the baby, a decision influenced by her mother. Holly was further shocked to learn Amy expected Tate and Sophia to marry. Later, when Tate arrived to explain, Holly, overwhelmed, lashed out and walked away.
Elsewhere, Sophia encountered Tate again, and he admitted his fear and regret over the situation, especially regarding Holly’s reaction. They agreed things had spiraled out of control.
At the Horton house, Doug worried about paying off loan sharks and hid his anxiety from Julie, who was mourning her late husband. Julie encouraged Doug to focus on his plans, unaware of the danger he faced. Later, Doug met the loan sharks in the park but couldn’t pay the full amount. The men attacked him, leaving him unconscious. Holly stumbled upon the scene and rushed to help him.
