Days of Our Lives Daily Recap 10/29

Days of Our Lives opens at Horton Town Square, where Tate and Sophia meet. At Brady’s Pub, Holly returns from Paris after visiting her mother and encounters Eric, with whom she has unresolved issues over her father’s death. Eric asks about her trip, and Holly reveals that she’s back with important matters to discuss.

Meanwhile, at the Horton family home, Chad arrives from Paris and speaks with Julie, who updates him on the children. Julie is taken aback when Chad admits that Abigail was an imposter, and they both wonder about Clyde Weston’s role in the deception. At the police station, Kat is in custody, soon joined by her brother, Mark, who apologizes, hinting at their mother’s possible fate.

Marlena, at home, discusses with Steve how Chad has suffered due to the fake Abigail. They reflect on the deceptions and suspect Clyde’s role in orchestrating the events.

Back at Brady’s Pub, Eric and Holly dive deeper into their emotional conversation. Holly expresses gratitude to Eric for encouraging her to go to Paris, where she exposed the imposter. Holly acknowledges her misplaced anger and forgives Eric, noting he’s always been a good father to her.

Tate and Sophia, still in Horton Town Square, enjoy each other’s company. Tate asks Sophia if she’d be open to a second date, but Sophia has reservations, noting her past friendship with Holly. Tate reassures her, affirming his interest.

Later, Marlena learns shocking details from Steve about Clyde’s manipulations from prison, while Chad reassures Julie that he was married to the imposter under deception, and all tests confirming her identity were faked.

In a tender moment, Holly speaks to Eric about her strained friendship with Sophia and wonders if things with Tate might still be possible. As she considers moving forward, Tate and Sophia’s budding relationship also faces obstacles.

The episode ends with an emotional tribute: “In Loving Memory of Drake Hogestyn,” honoring the beloved actor behind John Black. His legacy lives on, and thoughts are with his family, loved ones, friends and cast mates.
