Days of Our Lives Daily Recap 10/30

Days of Our Lives opens with Holly debating whether to send a text to Tate. Ultimately, she decides against it, especially as her grandmother Maggie looks on and asks if she met with Eric. Holly confirms she has, mentioning she’s forgiven both him and Tate. Maggie expresses concern about how harboring anger can be harmful, and Holly hopes Tate will forgive her, too.

In the Black penthouse, Tate arrives with Sophia. He calls out to see if anyone is home, and, with no answer, it appears they have the place to themselves.

At the Brady Pub, siblings Kayla and Roman discuss Kat’s recent impersonation of Abigail and the fallout it’s causing for Jennifer, Jack, Chad, and JJ. Kayla mentions that Jennifer had sensed something was off. They’re relieved that Kat and her accomplice Mark are now behind bars.

Meanwhile, at the jail, Kat meets with Chad, expressing relief that he came, as she needs to get some things off her chest.

Back at Horton Town Square, Brady is reading when Ava approaches him to congratulate him on the dropped charges, acknowledging his innocence. She notices his reading material, and he mentions that Kristen recently bought him a new car.

Back at the Pub, Kayla tells Roman that Chad’s marriage to the imposter isn’t legally valid since it was conducted under a false identity. They both hate that Chad is now forced to mourn his wife all over again.

In jail, Cat explains to Chad that she felt forced to impersonate Abigail due to her mother’s life being at risk. However, Chad dismisses her explanation, wanting only to know where Abigail is. Kat claims she doesn’t know and apologizes once again.

Back at Horton Town Square, Ava and Brady continue discussing Kristen’s recent behavior and how their shared custody of Rachel is working out. They toast to Kristen’s small acts of generosity.

At Maggie’s house, Holly confides in her grandmother about her regrets over the rift with Tate, especially now that she knows Brady was innocent. Maggie advises her to apologize, reminding her that Tate likely learned forgiveness from watching his father. Though hesitant, Holly eventually decides to text Tate. Holly decides to go to Tate’s home.

At the Black household, Tate and Sophia are talking, with Tate reminiscing about prom night and confessing his guilt over what happened. They share a lighthearted conversation before starting a movie in Tate’s room. He leaves his phone in the living room, missing Holly’s text.

In the meantime, Steve joins Kayla and Roman at the Pub, updating them on his conversation with Marlena about Cat’s true identity and the implications for John and Marlena.

In the jail, Chad tells Cat he’s been looking for Abigail’s body, revealing that her casket was empty. Kat insists she doesn’t know where Abigail’s body is, despite his disbelief.

Back at Horton Town Square, Ava and Brady joke about their involvement in “teenage drama” as they discuss Sophia and Tate. Brady admits he enjoys the conversation, saying he hasn’t had such lighthearted chats in a long time. They toast to simple, drama-free moments.

Back at the Black household, Sophia and Tate kiss, growing closer, while Holly is seen knocking on the door, eventually leaving when they don’t respond.

Returning to the jail, Chad continues questioning Cat, who reveals that since she and Mark failed to achieve Clyde’s goals, her own mother may now be dead as well.

At Horton Town Square, Ava and Brady discuss the complexities of young relationships. Ava expresses her hopes for Sophia and Tate’s happiness, while Brady seems entertained by their “teenage drama.” They both enjoy the escape from their own romantic challenges.

In the last scene, Sophia and Tate share an intimate moment, though they are interrupted by a faint knock at the door that Tate barely registers. Meanwhile, Holly has left, while Sophia and Tate take the next romantic step as she ask if he has a condom and Tate asks if she is sure which she is!
