Days of Our Lives Daily Recap 10/31

The episode begins with Marlena visiting Johnny at the DiMera mansion to wish him a belated happy birthday. Johnny recounts accusing Chanel of cheating, which upset her deeply. Meanwhile, Chanel is staying with Abe and Paulina, disappointed that Johnny didn’t trust her.

At the hospital, Stephanie confronts Dr. Seth about a previous mix-up. She quickly dismisses him, ending the awkward encounter. Over at the Kiriakis mansion, Alex asks Bonnie if she’s told his father about his situation with Stephanie. Bonnie replies that most of the town already knows.

At Heart and Soul, Joy Wesley visits Kate, who offers her a job after an impressive audition. In Leo’s hotel room, he’s preparing for rewrites on Body and Soul but falls into a dream sequence—a murder mystery that parodies soap operas. He envisions Dr. Marlena Evans as the killer and wakes up realizing it was all a metaphor for his writer’s block.

Back on the Body and Soul set, Johnny apologizes to Alex, who suggests he should make things right with Chanel. Johnny tries to patch things up, expressing regret and asking for forgiveness. Meanwhile, Leo receives news about a new cast member, and back at the hospital set, Kate introduces Joy to Johnny and Chanel, hinting at a previous connection between Johnny and Joy.

This cliffhanger sets up intrigue for the next episode.
