Days of Our Lives Daily Recap 11/12
Days of Our Lives opens at Horton Town Square, where Gabi and Javi discuss their workday plans, though Javi is distracted by a text from Leo. Meanwhile, Leo anxiously waits for Javi’s response when Joy appears. They begin chatting, and Joy realizes he’s the man who ruined her parents’ marriage.
At the hospital set, Johnny reflects on his recent encounter with Joy, just as Alex walks in. At the Salem PD, Chad and EJ inform Cat that her charges are being dropped. Elsewhere, Julie is surprised by a visit from JJ at the Horton family home.
Gabi questions Javi about his text, which he deflects by asking about his duties. As she assigns tasks, he finishes texting Leo. At Brady’s Pub, Joy confronts Leo, who apologizes and hopes it won’t affect their work relationship. Joy remarks that she’s also been a bit of a homewrecker.
Alex asks Johnny if they can work together without issues. Johnny confirms, apologizing to Alex, especially for his behavior with Chanel. Meanwhile, EJ tells Cat that while the charges have been dropped, he still finds her actions despicable, leaving her and Chad alone.
Gabi hands Javi her divorce papers to deliver to the courthouse. As Javi leaves, EJ approaches Gabi, who makes it clear she blames him for her failed marriage and Stefan’s departure. At the same time, Leo tries to get Joy to open up about her “homewrecking,” but Javi interrupts, prompting Joy to leave.
Back on the Body and Soul set, Chanel and Alex prepare for a love scene. Johnny, in a flashback, remembers cheating on Chanel with Joy. After the scene, Chanel checks on Johnny, who admits he regrets his actions. Meanwhile, Leo and Javi talk about Leo’s history of meddling in the Wesley family.
Joy arrives on set and introduces herself to Alex, who tells her that her character will be a thorn in Chanel’s side. At the Horton house, JJ and Julie talk about Doug, Lani, Eli, and the twins. Julie asks about JJ’s love life and invites him to stay at the family home.
Gabi continues to blame EJ for her divorce, saying he should have stopped it and that it cost her everything. At the PD, Cat and Chad discuss Clyde’s escape. Chad tells Cat that Clyde wants to trade her for Abigail’s body, which shocks her.
JJ and Julie catch up, and she’s delighted he’ll be staying. Chad shares his plan with Cat: he’ll use her as bait to capture Clyde but promises to protect her, though he’s unsure of the outcome. Cat agrees, especially if it means a chance her mother might still be alive. She tries to get her brother released, but Chad refuses, declaring he’ll do whatever it takes to bring Abigail back.
Joy and Alex get acquainted, while Chanel tries to gauge Johnny’s mood. Johnny feels guilty about his past with Joy but promises Chanel he’ll make things right. Chanel remains unaware of his and Joy’s past. Later, EJ confesses to Gabi that he took pleasure in how their affair hurt Stefan. Furious, Gabi slaps him.
Leo and Javi make plans to get drinks. Alex asks Chanel about Johnny, and she admits he still seems guilty about his behavior at his birthday party. Joy then confronts Johnny, who says he needs to come clean to Chanel.
At the Horton house, Chad arrives as Julie expresses her relief that Cat will remain in jail. Chad tries to tell her otherwise, but Cat enters. As tensions rise, EJ and Gabi’s argument intensifies, and just as Gabi is about to slap EJ again, he grabs her hand. JJ steps in, demanding EJ let her go.
