Days of Our Lives opens at Horton Town Square, where Leo meets with Rafe for an emergency meeting. Leo is still upset over the whistleblower leaking spoilers about Body and Soul.
At the Hernandez household, Jada senses she interrupted Javi. She notices Javi acting protective of his phone, which he brushes off with an excuse. Jada wonders why Rafe isn’t home, and Javi explains that Leo summoned him.
Meanwhile, at the DiMera mansion, Chanel questions Johnny and Alex about their argument. Alex claims it’s about Joy, and Johnny lies, saying Alex slept with her.
Joy meets EJ with hesitation as he hands her a check to convince her to leave Body and Soul. She confesses she actually likes her job, but EJ insists this opportunity is generous. Their conversation is interrupted by Kate, who asks what’s going on. EJ reveals he’s acting as Joy’s lawyer to help her quit the show. Kate reminds him that Joy’s contract is ironclad, warning against breaking it. This prompts Joy to reconsider and decide to stay.
Back with Rafe and Leo, they discuss the whistleblower. Leo suspects someone accessed the computer and laments his failed relationship with Javi. Suddenly, Leo has a hunch about who the fraudulent Lady Whistleblower might be.
At the DiMera mansion, Chanel questions why Alex told Johnny about him and Joy. Johnny explains he sensed something between them, and Alex eventually confided in him. Johnny says he feared it might cause issues for the show.
Jada presses Javi about why he doesn’t want Rafe helping Leo. Javi claims it’s because of how Leo treated Jada. Mid-conversation, Javi gets a text and leaves abruptly.
Rafe, meanwhile, has a suspect in mind for the whistleblower but refuses to tell Leo, hoping to avoid more baseless accusations. He advises Leo to be patient and mentions putting in a good word for him with Javi.
At the DiMera mansion, Alex assures Chanel he doesn’t want Joy to get hurt. Chanel agrees, saying Joy’s well-being is her priority. After Chanel leaves, Alex confronts Johnny about his lie. Johnny apologizes, admitting he panicked, but Alex doesn’t take kindly to it, calling Johnny a “little bitch.”
EJ later asks Joy why she changed her mind. Joy reveals Kate’s words resonated with her—she loves her job and doesn’t think she should leave. She also blames Johnny as much as herself and resolves to stay.
In Horton Town Square, Leo sees Javi and invites him to his room. However, Kerry approaches with a date planned with Javi, leaving Leo behind.
Rafe confides in Jada that he suspects Hattie Adams is the whistleblower. Jada objects, noting that the Salem PD is also looking for Hattie. She insists on taking the lead, but Rafe disagrees, asserting his PI license gives him the right. They turn it into a friendly competition, wishing each other luck.
EJ informs Johnny that Joy has decided to stay. As Chanel enters, Johnny shifts gears to help her run lines. Once she leaves, Johnny asks EJ if he can handle the situation. EJ assures him he has no choice.
Later, Joy visits Alex to tell him she’s staying in Salem.
