They headed to Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) office, where they received devastating news: Chanel’s HCG levels were still high from her molar pregnancy last year, making it risky for her to conceive due to potential cancer complications. Johnny and Chanel were crushed by the possibility that parenthood might be out of reach for them.
In another part of the hospital, Holly and Sophia learned that their baby was perfectly fine after Sophia’s round ligament pain scare. Sophia, ever the planner, convinced Holly to let her and Tate consider adoption for their baby.
