Frank Fritz, ‘American Pickers’ Co-Host, Dies at 60
Frank's contributions to "American Pickers" and the broader antique community were truly remarkable. His adventurous spirit and passion for discovery resonated with so many viewers. The way he and Mike Wolfe explored unknown places together, capturing the thrill of the hunt, made the show special.
It’s poignant to remember the joy he brought through his search for vintage treasures, particularly his love for motorcycles and bikes. His charm and authenticity not only entertained but also inspired many to appreciate history and craftsmanship.
His appearances on other shows, like "Pawn Stars" and "American Dad," highlighted his versatility and enduring presence in the entertainment world. He will certainly be remembered for the warmth and enthusiasm he brought to everything he did.
His friend and co-host Mike Wolfe shared the news on social media. For a decade and across numerous episodes, the pair starred on the long-running History Channel show. The program chronicled their nationwide quest for antiques and artifacts, which they either sold in their store or added to their personal collections.
“It’s with a broken heart that I share with all of you that Frank passed away last night,” Wolfe wrote in a tribute post on Instagram. “I’ve know Frank for more then half my life and what you’ve seen on TV has always been what I have seen, a dreamer who was just as sensitive as he was funny. The same off camera as he was on, Frank had a way of reaching the hearts of so many by just being himself.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones.
