General Hospital Daily Recap 1/10

Jason sits talking to Michael at his bedside in the GH burn unit room.  Michael is struggling and Jason asks the nurse to help him with the pain.  She says she will but asks Jason to leave. Outside, Jason watches the nurse administer medication to Michael.  In the hospital chapel, Drew repeats his accusation to Carly.  He says she’s responsible for Michael being set on fire because she brought Sonny into his life again.  In the corridor near Michael’s room, Willow and Joss continue their argument.  Joss follows Willow as she walks away, counting down all Willow’s past actions.  She highlights her pattern, and Willow’s speechless.  Up on the roof, Sonny prays and asks for help.

He prays for Morgan to help Michael.  Just at that moment, Isaiah walks out on the rooftop.  Rick enters a fancy PC restaurant, Balo, and encounters Alexis who sarcastically asks him to eat somewhere else. He tells her no but invites her to leave, and follows the hostess to his table.  Lucy takes Sidwell to Bobbie’s Diner, to show him around.  She praises the food and history, and continues to flirt with him.  Brennan and Colette have a meeting at the WSB and he tells her about his findings at the penthouse fire he and Anna are investigating.Felicia sits down for lunch with Maxie and Sasha at the Metro Court.

She tells of her feelings and job as a patient advocate at GH.  She lets it slip about Michael’s hospitalization.  Back at GH, Portia and Jason discuss Michael’s condition.  She gives him an update on his medication, and  managing his pain.  Jason tells her Michael came to, and he believes he recognized him.  In the chapel, Carly and Drew discuss the past.  Drew blames her for what happened because she should have had Michael raised by AJ and not Sonny.  Brennan explains that the incendiary device at the fire left little debris, similar to one WSB designed before.  Colette says it was a classified weapon.  They need to check for unauthorized access to WSB weapons and who wants Sonny Corinthos eliminated.  He asks her to make it a priority.  Colette then asks why he accessed footage from the park when Dex was stabbed.  He says that’s another project.Willow turns and tells Joss her side of her personal life.

Joss continues accusing her of being wrong for cheating.  Nina hears what’s said as she walks up.  She forcefully tells Joss to leave her daughter alone.  At the restaurant, Rick and Ava are having lunch.  She tells him of her financial obligations and woes. The gallery is doing well.  She purchased a building where she wanted to move the Jerome Gallery, but now can’t.  She’s now paying mortgages on both buildings.  She might have to sell the new building.  Rick explains he can’t get her Cassadine Estate money unless they grant it to her.  She needs to appeal to Alexis, the trustee.  Diane and Alexis discuss Michael at another table in the restaurant.  They both believe he’ll pull through.  Cyrus Renault watches and eavesdrops on them in the background while bussing a table.

Felicia tells Sasha and Maxie about Michael being in the hospital in critical condition.  She tells them about the accident.  Sasha apologizes and takes off to see him.  Sonny and Isaiah talk on the GH rooftop.  Sonny thanks him for helping Michael, and asks what his recovery chances are.  Isaiah tells him all he knows from his experience, and asks how Sonny’s doing. He cautions him on taking care of himself. Carly tells Drew he doesn’t have a right to preach to her about her son’s life after what he’s done.  Drew says his relationship with Willow is more than what they used to share.  Carly sees him for who really he is.

In Brennan’s office, Colette questions his accessing the WSB satellite footage for Josslyn Jax.  He defends by stating they need to know who was responsible for the stabbing.  Brennan says he will leave a trail of clues to test how well Joss follows them to find the killer. (Is he training her as a future WSB spy?)

Nina intimidatingly tells Joss to be more compassionate toward Willow.  Joss defends what she said.  Nina accuses her of being just like her mother.  Joss responds with accusations and remarks about their deceptive behavior.  She tells them to stay away from her brother and walks off.At Bobbie’s, Lucy gives Sidwell a rundown on the notable families in Port Charles.  He’s paying close attention without sharing much about himself.  She asks if he’s got any romantic interests.  Maxie and Felicia continue discussing Michael’s condition.  Felicia is curious about Sasha’s reaction.  Maxie blames it on the pregnancy.  Felicia says she loves Maxie and wants her to know she loves her dearly.  Maxie says she does, too.

Standing outside Michael’s hospital room, Sasha’s sobbing.  Jason walks up behind her, and she asks about Michael.  Drew’s left the chapel, and Carly prays for his recovery.  Sonny comes by and gives her an update on Michael.  Sonny blames himself for what happened.  In the GH corridor, Willow thanks Nina for defending her.  Nina truthfully tells Willow why Joss’ words shouldn’t matter.  She warns her against talking to Carly, and tells her a social worker came and took Wiley and Amelia.  Willow runs into Drew’s arms struck by what happened.  At the GH elevator, Brennan runs into Joss, and she gives him an update on Michael.  He gives her information about Dex’s stabbing, dropping those breadcrumbs.

Ava praises Rick on his legal prowess at the restaurant.  She asks if he can help her with Alexis.  Martin walks to the bar to talk to Cyrus.  Cyrus needs his help to get back into General Hospital.  Diane interrupts to ask if Martin can discuss the Corinthos divorce case.  Rick takes the chance to talk to Alexis.  Brennan continues his convo with Joss at GH.  He lies and tells her he has the PCPD Witness List.  He instructs her on what to do.  (Breadcrumbs being laid and easily followed.) Carly tells Sonny what Drew told her.  He tells her to forget Drew and regrets what happened to Michael.  Sasha tells Jason that she still has love for Michael, and how he comforted her when everyone turned against her.

Nina, Willow and Drew return to Nina’s apartment.  Nina tells her they need to petition for temporary custody.  Drew says there may be another way.  Sidwell gives Lucy vague information on his past romance.  He appreciates Lucy’s invaluable help.  Meanwhile, at another restaurant, Diane and Martin discuss Willow’s actions.  She tries to give him Martin an alternate choice, but he declines.  At Alexis’ table, Rick tries to talk her into returning Ava’s divorce settlement.  She refuses.

Carly and Sonny are thankful they have wonderful kids.  They unite as a family to help Michael through his recovery.  Willow asks Drew what else she can do.  He says that though they are legally separated and Michael filed for divorce, Willow is still Michael’s health care proxy. Hhhmmm…It’s still valid.  Nina is interested, although she already heard all this from Martin earlier.  Drew suggests denying Michael’s family access to him in exchange to getting her kids back.  Willow says NO Never!  Drew warns her about Carly’s vengeance.

Outside Michael’s room, Jason offers to take Sasha home and she accepts.  Sonny and Carly ask Portia and Isaiah how Michael’s doing, and ask for any burn recovery unit recommendations. Willow arrives with Nina and Drew and says that won’t be necessary.  She’s the Sole person the hospital should be talking to about Michael’s health care.  At the GH Nurses station, Joss questions Felicia as she begins her ‘test’.  Brennan listens in the background.  Felicia remembers the fact of hearing a bell.  She remembers Cyrus had been ringing a bell in the park, but there was no sound when Dex was stabbed.  Someone enters Michael’s room and closes the shades.  It’s Cyrus!  He tells him his suffering will soon be over, and says a prayer for him before filling a syringe and inserting its contents in the IV.
