Meanwhile, at the hospital, Laura calls Kevin to discuss Heather visiting Ace. She assures him that if he’s uncomfortable, she’ll say no, but Kevin consents, allowing Heather to say goodbye to Ace before she leaves for Arizona with Steven..
Later, in Sonny’s office, Holly finalizes her agreement to receive 35% of the diamonds, with Sonny keeping the rest. After Holly leaves, Anna arrives at Sonny’s restaurant and shares her guilt over Charlotte’s situation with Jason, who reassures her, saying they need to focus on finding Charlotte.
At the hospital, Elizabeth and Laura discuss Heather’s departure, agreeing that it’s for the best. At Kevin and Laura’s home, Heather arrives to say goodbye to Ace, but as she whispers to him, her demeanor hints that she may not have changed.
Sonny arrives at the hospital to take a walk with Dante, who expresses concerns about Rocco, Scout, Danny, and Sam. Dante doesn’t want to give Rocco false hope, but Sonny insists that there’s nothing wrong with hope.
Jason pulls Spinelli aside to help him find Charlotte. As Dante, Laura, Alexis, and Sonny anxiously await news on Lulu’s surgery, Elizabeth arrives to inform them that it went well.
Finally, in this episode’s dramatic ending, Sasha reveals to Cody that they are actually first cousins. Reeling from the news, Cody storms out and heads to a bar—coincidentally the same bar where Nina and Drew are. Frustrated and upset, Cody lashes out, punching Drew and loudly announcing to everyone present that Drew has been involved with his nephew’s wife while also sleeping with her mother.
