Today’s episode starts innocently enough with Trina in the Port Charles Park leading the group on Operation Christmas Tree. Joss, Dex and Gio follow along. Lucky runs into Liz at the park, too. At Alexis’ house Molly and Alexis share an awkward moment. Alexis attempts to engage her about what Kristina said. At Laura’s office, Martin gives Laura a celebratory hug on Lulu’s miraculous return. Laura tells him of Cyrus’ shenanigans at Turning Woods. At Sonny’s Pozzulo’s Restaurant, Sonny and Kristina discuss her confrontation with Molly. Kristina doesn’t regret what she said. Liz and Lucky bump into each other at the park. He asks if their son, Aiden is with her. She says no and subtly flirts with Lucky, as she leads him on a search for a Christmas Tree. Lucky talks her into getting a large tree and promises to help get it home.
At Laura’s office, Laura proudly gives Martin details on how and why Lulu escaped Turning Woods. Martin promises to warn
Cyrus to stay away. Laura already got a restraining order. Back to Alexis and Molly, and Alexis still doesn’t see her obvious preferential treatment of Kristina. Molly sees it and doesn’t want Alexis in the middle of her problems with Kristina. She wants to leave. At Sonny’s restaurant, Kristina rationalizes her unhinged behavior to Sonny. He menacingly promises Ava will pay. At the park, the tree hunting group continues their quest. The ladies haven’t found “the one”, while the guys are perplexed. Gio tells of the uproar at the Quartermaines over the Christmas Party. The guys are more confused when the ladies nonchalantly admit they don’t even have a tree stand, but they did find a tree! Dex brings order to the mayhem and goes to get coffee after telling Trina and Joss to get a tree stand. Gio is put on tree guard duty until everyone returns. It’s kinda funny to watch. As he walks away, Dex comes face-to-face with Cyrus. In her office, Laura continues telling Martin of Lulu’s return and worries about she will face getting her life back together. They are both happy and worried for her.
Alexis expresses her worries to Molly and tries to stop Molly from leaving. They discuss Kristina’s illogical behavior. Molly asks Alexis if she believes Ava. At Sonny’s, he apologizes to Kristina about the jury’s verdict. Kristina continues her disbelief of the verdict and Molly’s thinking Adela (Baby Irene’s) death was an accident. She wants justice. In the park, Liz finds a tree and Lucky has it tied to the car. They reminisce about their past dreams, and past feelings. Lucky doesn’t hide his. They exchange soft adoring smiles.
At Laura’s, she and Martin discuss Laura’s time she lost raising Lulu. She compares this to what Lulu will face with Rocko. Charlotte and Valentin whereabouts are also discussed.
Sonny tells Kristina he’s proud of her. He says he will deal with Ava. He also tells her to find another way to honor Adela.
Meanwhile at Alexis’, Alexis tells her the jury verdict was fair. She also clearly understands Molly’s grieving reasoning. Cyrus greets Dex in the park. Dex asks if he is honoring the restraining order. Cyrus says yes. Dex tells him he saw him at GH on Halloween. OH NO! Cyrus dodges the question. Liz and Lucky make it back to her home with the tree. Lucky wanting to see Aiden, stays and helps Liz decorate. Lucky seems happy being there. Liz thanks him and pays him with cookies. Sonny asks Kristina again about working for him. Kristina’s not interested. He queries her about the youth center project, but she wants the focus to be on the kids there. Sonny has an idea to refocus his daughter and help her ease her anger.
Operation Christmas Tree continues as they get the tree back to Joss and Trina’s apartment. Gio share his family decoration issues/fun. Dex seems preoccupied and steps away to untangle the lights. Joss sees it, checks on him, they later leave. Trina and Gio continue decorating, and their friendly rapport. Decorating at Liz’s, Lucky and Liz discuss Lulu. The subtle flirting continues. Lucky tells Liz he's staying in Port Charles, and she’s happy. She gives him job options. Joss and Dex return to the park. She knows his feelings about his family’s past Christmases. She helps him make new happier Christmas memories. At Alexis’ Molly no longer feels alone when Alexis tells her she knows what she’s TRULY feeling. Molly stays.
Alexis tells her how much she misses Kristina, and Molly hugs her tight. Back at Sonny’s, he tells Kristina that Charlie’s Restaurant needs a new owner. He asks her, and she agrees. Back at Alexis’, Alexis and Molly work out how to handle visitors that will cause friction for them. Continuing Valentin and Charlotte discussion, Martin lets Laura know Valentin is another level of spy, a chameleon. He knows how to disappear. Laura didn’t agree with Valentin taking Charlotte with him. At Liz’s, she gives Lucky Cam’s guitar. He plays something. Lucky is Really Good! Liz’s memories come flooding back. At the mission display in the park, Cyrus has a flashback of him in Sam’s GH room injecting digitalis in her IV. HE KILLED SAM! WHY Did he DO IT??!
