
This episode begins with Sonny going to see Carly at her home. She’s preparing for Valentine cookie making with the girls. Sonny shares his happy memories of previous Valentine cookie making. He tells her he and Ava settled their custody battle, and explains why he made concessions. Carly notices something else is really going on. Joss is in their Quartermaine apartment, checking the location of the address Colette gave her. Trina comes in and Joss quickly hides what she’s doing. Trina’s returning from shopping, and wants to cook dinner. Joss asks why, but Trina receives a text from Kai asking her out. Curtis meets with Laura at her office. They discuss the esplanade project.
Curtis thought the environmental impact statement killed the project, but Laura says Drew has a plan. Curtis doesn’t want to deal with Drew. Laura asks him to stay because she admires and trusts his business acumen. He agrees to stay, and won’t hold back. Laura tells him Drew wants to invoke eminent domain to seize the Piers 55 and 56, which belong to Sonny. Sonny’s businesses would suffer losses. Laura believes Drew wants to retaliate against Jason through Sonny. Willow and Felicia talk about Willow’s patients in GH. Felicia tells her one of her patients gave her glowing compliments. Martin interrupts them. Mac goes to see Anna, and questions her reasons for detaining Jason with no cause. Anna says this prevents Jason from killing Cyrus.
Liz walks into the station and enters Jason’s interrogation room. She tells him she and Lucky found evidence to put Cyrus away. Carly asks Sonny why he’s okay with Avery’s custody arrangement, after all the trouble he and Ava had. Sonny tells her what Diane explained to him. She gave him the plain facts, especially after his condo fire bombing. Avery missing her Mom was the most important factor. Carly’s not convinced.Curtis and Laura bounce ideas off each other as to Drew’s motivation, and walk through the esplanade business options. They impressively review every possible outcome, ranging from the city’s expenditures to a lawsuit. They arrive at the same conclusion why Drew’s stopping the project. Curtis emphasizes that Drew has changed. Laura’s concerned about who Drew wants to invest in the project, Jens Sidwell. Anna tells Mac they are stalling until Jason calms down. Mac shockingly disagrees and states Jason killing Cyrus would be better for everyone. Anna reminds him they couldn’t look the other way.
Mac says they need evidence of Cyrus’ guilt. Meanwhile, Liz tells Jason she’s giving all the evidence she and Lucky collected to Anna. That way Jason can focus only on Danny. He asked if they know Cyrus’ motives. She doesn’t but wants to stop him from killing.Meanwhile, Cyrus sits in his cabin reading from his Bible. He looks determined to continue doing what he believes is the Lord’s work.Joss teases Trina about Kai asking her out. Trina’s not going. Joss asks why, and Trina tells her how important Valentine’s Day used to be for them both. Trina misses Spencer ALL the Time, especially on Special Days like this. Joss says she misses Dex all the time, too. Trina suggests they hang out, but Joss says no to this. She persuades Trina to go out with Kai.
Sonny tries to convince Carly why his sudden Avery custody change. He wants to protect the family and help Michael recoup. Carly asks if he’s talked to Jason about Sasha. Now she thinks Jason’s Sasha’s baby’s father. Sonny asks her to wait for Jason to tell them the truth. He leaves with a personalized Valentine card from the girls. Mac stops to talk with Sasha in the PCPD station. He apologizes for Cody’s behavior. She thanks him, and tells him she’s there to see Jason.Willow talks with Martin, and he tells her about his investigative progress on Michael. He assures her his PI is okay, but he needs dirt on Michael. Willow insists she doesn’t want to hurt him. Martin and Willow are interrupted when Willow gets a call about her car being impounded. Willow goes to PCPD to get her car out of the impound lot. She sees Mac and tells him Tracy could have done it. Willow sees how much freedom she lost when she married Michael.
Curtis questions Drew’s association with Sidwell, and tells her he saw Jordan with Sidwell. Jordan enters the office, and Laura asks her about meeting with Sidwell. She tells them they need more information on Sidwell before doing business with him. She’s slyly investigating him, and Curtis cautions her. Drew arrives. Drew tells them he could get matching federal funds to reduce the esplanade project costs. He threatens them with letting the project die in committee unless they accept his offer. He leaves, and Laura, Jordan and Curtis devise plans.
Liz goes to see Anna about Cyrus, and gives her the evidence she and Lucky discovered. Liz also tells Anna all they observed with Lulu and other Turning Woods patients. Liz and Lucky found an invoice on a box of syringes in Cyrus’ trash. They also found a second box that might have been digitalis. In the meantime, Cyrus sits at home preparing another syringe for a new victim. Cyrus calls GH and asks for Liz. She’s not there, and he goes to find his next victim.
Mac takes Sasha to see Jason. Mac gives Jason a stern warning as he leaves. Sasha tells Jason she thinks Willow suspects Michael as being the father of her baby. Sasha told Willow her due date, without thinking. She fears Willow’s lawyers could tie the baby to Michael. Now she wants Jason to admit he’s the baby’s father.
Joss tells Trina to respond to Kai’s text, she does. He tells her to meet him at the Savoy. Joss tells her not to feel bad about leaving her alone. Trina goes to see Kai. Joss takes out Dex’s old gun.
Drew brings Willow a flower bouquet at GH. Felicia’s at the nurses station and tells him Willow’s not there. At PCPD, Mac arranges for Willow’s car to be released from the impound lot. Anna interrupts and takes Mac away. Willow sees Sasha and Jason when she looks into the interrogation room. Sasha sees her, and opens the door. She turns and kisses Jason, then leaves. Jason’s just as stunned as everyone else!
