This episode opens with Alexis and Molly at Bobbie’s, where they invite Kristina and Sonny to join them, but they decline. Kristina has something she wants to discuss privately with Sonny. Molly asks Alexis if she knows who took care of Cyrus, and Alexis suspects Jason, despite her pleas for him not to do it. Molly mentions she’s taking Danny out to a movie later. Ava and Ric enter Bobbie’s and get stares from some of the regular patrons. Meanwhile, Lucky is bored in his hospital room and asks his friend to help him out. Jordan texts Sidwell to meet her at a restaurant, and as he leaves to meet her, Natalia joins him in the Metro Court elevator. Once alone, Sidwell asks how she’s doing and reassures her that he won’t reveal their past marriage.
Maxie joins them in the elevator, and Olivia stops by Carly's Metro Court office, seeking her help with Sasha’s situation. She wants to rescue Sasha from the overbearing Quartermaines. In the Quartermaine kitchen, Sasha takes a break and Jason checks in to see if she’s alright. Sasha complains about Monica’s constant interference.
Ava and Ric sit down at a table at Bobbie’s. Ava wants to leave, but Ric insists they stay, so he can greet his daughter, Molly, and her mom, Alexis. Molly and Ric talk briefly, and he promises to call her later. Molly says she’s focusing on her family now and is committed to her children, Danny and Scout.
Sonny checks in with Kristina to see if she’s okay with Ava being around. Kristina reassures him she’s fine, but addresses his living situation. Sonny brushes it off, telling her he’ll deal with it later. She tells him that he needs to find a stable home for his daughters, Donna and Avery.
Sidwell bids Natalia and Maxie goodbye and heads off to meet Jordan for breakfast. He talks to Jordan about Cyrus's disappearance, and she expresses doubt that it was so simple. Sidwell asks about the esplanade project and the status of his offer, but Jordan informs him that the mayor wants to keep the esplanade in its original location. Lucy interrupts their conversation with a business opportunity. Jordan excuses herself for another meeting.
Olivia asks Carly if she has confirmed whether Jason is the father of Sasha’s baby. Carly, though staying out of the situation, listens as Olivia lays out a plan to help Sasha by offering her a job at the Metro Court and a room closer to her due date. Carly agrees with the plan and volunteers to talk to Sasha about it. Carly later invites Sasha to join them at the restaurant.
Meanwhile, Sasha vents about Monica’s intrusiveness and the Quartermaines’ expectations. Jason offers to talk to his mother, but Sasha refuses, wanting to handle things on her own. He offers her money, but she turns him down, not wanting him to control her.
Lucky talks to Isaiah, who tells him he can’t sign him out of the hospital yet and urges him to focus on his recovery. Lucky opens up about his near-death experience and how it’s influenced his decision to stay with his family. He expresses his love for Liz.
Ric returns to Ava and warns her not to celebrate too soon about the changes in Sonny’s behavior. Ava disagrees and heads over to Sonny and Kristina’s table to confirm Avery’s schedule with Sonny. She shares her happiness about seeing Avery with him. The situation escalates when Kristina brings up the loss of her own daughter, and a heated argument erupts between Kristina and Ava, as well as between Ric and Sonny. Ric accuses Kristina of being responsible for the tragic loss of Molly and TJ’s baby, suggesting she needs therapy. Alexis steps in to break up the confrontation, and Molly decides to leave. Later, Ric tells Ava that Alexis clearly favors one daughter over the other.
At the Metro Court, Natalia, Maxie, and Lucy discuss an urgent problem with their wrinkle cream. The zincite mineral they need is no longer available, and their competitor is getting it instead. Maxie suggests they find a new supplier, and Lucy proposes Sidwell, who might be able to help.
In the kitchen, Cody offers Sasha coffee, but she insists he doesn’t have to stay because of her. She vents about the Quartermaines, and Cody apologizes for causing the drama, but Sasha says she’s no longer upset. Cody tells her that despite the craziness, the Quartermaines care about her. Sasha appreciates their concern, but she doesn’t want them controlling her and leaves.
Jordan meets with Isaiah and tells him about her meeting with Sidwell. Isaiah warns her not to trust Sidwell and expresses his concerns about her getting hurt. He respects her desire to investigate him further, but he also asks her to find some balance with her business.
Maxie checks in with Natalia, who shares that she found concerning research on Sidwell and worries they might regret working with him. When Sidwell arrives, he tells them that Enchantment made him an offer and asks for 5% of Deception. Maxie refuses.
Molly waits for Danny in the Quartermaine kitchen. They’re planning to go to a movie together. Cody offers her coffee and they chat about their families, both dealing with their own issues. Molly’s phone rings, and it’s her mom checking in on her.
Kristina visits Lucky, telling him that she believes Jason is responsible for Cyrus’s disappearance. Jason later meets with Sonny, updating him on the situation with Cyrus and Drew’s lies. Sonny tells Jason about the trouble on the pier and his suspicions that Drew and Sidwell are behind the condo fire.
Sasha, meanwhile, runs into Carly at the Metro Court and notices Sidwell with the Deception team. She warns them about doing business with him, sharing her negative experience with him.
Finally, Kristina confides in Lucky, expressing her anger about Ava being free and not facing consequences for losing her baby.
