Laura meets Lulu at Bobbie’s. Lulu had news of Valentin from Brennan. He briefly surfaced in Germany then disappeared. Lulu has another way to find Charlotte. Carly brings Lucas his laptop, and chat, including their questionable taste in men. Carly tells him that Nina called her. Nina bribes Maxie with a trip to the Winter Fashion Formal in New York City. Maxie’s suspicious, and asks what she wants. Nina needs her advice on how to get Carly to work with her on breaking up Drew and Willow. Willow and Portia welcome Liz back to GH. Liz is happy to return. Portia asks to speak with her. Sidwell and Drew discuss business over breakfast at Cafe Cherie. Jenz asks why the esplanade project was stalled. Drew lies and blames environmental concerns at the site.
Sidwell asks if Sonny was responsible for the delay. Meanwhile, Sonny and Natalia are in Los Angeles at the cardiologist. He thanks her for coming with him. Jordan asks Anna for a micro recording device she got for the police department, because she’ll be using it.In her office, Portia officially apologizes to Liz for suspending her. Liz accepts it. Portia credits Ric for fighting so hard for Liz. Liz asks about the hospital’s investigation, and Portia tells her it’s an official criminal investigation. She also confirms there were no more GH digitalis deaths, and verifies they don’t have any suspects.
Maxie adamantly defends Willow and tells Nina she’s allowed to make her own mistakes. Nina doesn’t like Drew’s influence on her daughter. Maxie lets it slip that Drew bought a house in Port Charles, and she’s helping him find a decorator. Nina asks Maxie to help her, but she refuses. She says Willow’s in love with Drew. Carly overhears them. After Maxie leaves, Nina apologizes to Carly for what she did coming between her and Sonny. Carly’s not sure about their collaboration. Nina convinces her, and devises a plan.Carly talks with Lucas, and is sure Nina will ask her help to break up Willow and Drew, and she wants to do it. She tells him about discovering Drew went to see Willow at the gatehouse. Lucas says they both need to think before acting. He tells her to work with Nina.Natalia asks Sonny if he’s worried about the doctor. He’s really trying to find out who blew up his condo. Sonny tells Natalia why he doesn’t want to tell his kids or anyone about his heart condition. He and Natalia go in to see the doctor.
The doctor says Sonny needs a pacemaker and drug regimen within the next three months. A stranger follows them when they leave. He calls Jenz and tells him about Sonny and Natalia’s appointment. Lulu tells Laura how she could find information on Charlotte. She’s following popular equestrians on social media, and could possibly find something on Charlotte. Laura gets a call, and rushes off to meet with Drew. Liz calls to thank Gail at Turning Woods for giving her information on patients Cyrus visited. Cyrus walks up and asks Gail about a patient. She tells him he can’t see any patients until he talks to Director Ferner. The director asks him to stop visiting their patients. It’s due to Laura and Lucky’s complaints. Cyrus thinks Liz is the one who got him barred, and leaves upset.
Drew tells Sidwell that Sonny’s not delaying the esplanade project. Jenz suggests a new location. Laura walks in to speak with Drew, and is surprised to find Sidwell there. She confronts him. He subtly threatens her. Laura stays to learn what they were discussing, then directs Congressman Drew to submit a proposal to relocate the esplanade to her office. She outright tells him that Sidwell is not a good solution for Port Charles, and leaves.Jordan tells Anna why she needs the wire. Anna warns her about Sidwell, and tells her he may have firebombed Sonny’s place. Anna supports Jordan’s undercover plan to get information on Sidwell.
Cyrus goes to Bobbie’s and sees Lulu. She reminds him about the restraining order. He creepily tells her he cares about her and is devoted to her. She calls Anna for help, but he disappears.Willow works awkwardly with Lucas at GH. He apologizes to her, and offers his help for her and her kids. She thanks him. Later, Maxie stops by to see Willow and arrange a playdate with Wiley for James, and asks her how she’s doing.
Lulu goes to tell Anna about her encounter with Cyrus. She told her about his cryptic message, “No one has done for you what I have.” Liz talks to Lucas about Cyrus being a suspect for the GH murders. He tells her that Cyrus was banned from GH. She shares that she and Lucky are close to finding evidence against Cyrus. Lucas tells her Joss had Cyrus questioned by Anna at PCPD. He knows he’s a suspect. Cyrus returns to GH, and observes Liz and Lucas talking.
