Jason repeats his demand for Sidwell to stay away from Sasha, pulling out a gun for emphasis. He forces Sidwell outside, ignoring Sasha's pleas for him to stop. Meanwhile, Gio delivers some horse supplies to Cody at the stables. Dante follows him inside and jokingly asks if he's doing Cody's job for him. At the Metro Court restaurant, Nina and Willow meet. Carly walks in just as Willow plans to share some news. Anna, Emma, and Maxie are seated at another table; Anna wants Maxie to offer
Emma an internship at Deception, though Maxie’s initially skeptical. Curtis and Portia are also dining there, with Portia checking her work emails.
All seems calm for now. In Miami, Lucas and Brad pause their romantic moment as Brad confesses to blackmailing Portia. Lucas is upset by this revelation. Lulu, on the phone with Spinelli, congratulates him on successfully getting them out of Valentin's house. She reveals they've uncovered a lead: Martin knows more about Valentin than he's letting on. When Lulu opens the door to Laura’s apartment, she overhears Martin talking to her grandmother, Laura. She ends the call with Spinelli.
Back at the stables, Gio tells Dante and Cody he’s happy to help out Cody as a friend. As Gio leaves to check the gates, Dante jokes that Cody should bill him for the work. Cody admits he likes Gio. The conversation shifts to Dante’s emotional state; he says he’s found closure on Sam’s death and that the disappearance of Cyrus has brought peace to him, Rocco, and Danny. He reflects on how Sam’s death still seems to come between him and Lulu.
Laura invites Lulu to dinner, but Lulu has plans with Maxie. Martin apologizes for Cyrus's actions, but Laura reassures him, saying she doesn’t blame him. He worries that Lulu avoids him because of his connections to Cyrus and Valentin, but Laura suggests he give her time. They both agree that they're grateful to have found each other as siblings. Afterward, Laura receives a call from her assistant, Darcy, regarding a call from a U.S. Congressman.
Back in the Quartermaine mansion, Sasha calls Jason to urge him to stop his confrontation with Sidwell. Just then, Tracy walks in, upsetting Sasha. Tracy insists that she’s focused on Sasha because she believes she’s good for Jason, and she won’t let her push the Quartermaines away. She advises Sasha to stop living in a fantasy and think about what's best for her baby.
Willow tells Nina and Carly that she’s planning to move in with Drew and the kids. Carly protests, worried about what it would do to Michael, but Willow insists she’s not blindsiding anyone. Carly urges Willow to wait for Michael’s return, but Nina sides with Willow, saying that Willow, as their mother, will make the best decision for the children. Willow walks away, and Carly and Nina begin to bond over their shared goal of breaking up Willow and Drew.
Emma declines Anna’s internship offer, and Maxie wonders why, given Emma’s interest in cosmetics. Maxie tells her she won’t hire her as a favor and that Emma has to want the job for herself. Anna thanks Maxie and asks Emma to reconsider.
Back in Miami, Lucas confronts Brad about blackmailing Portia, furious that Brad hasn't changed. Brad tries to explain that he kept quiet about Dr. Robinson’s actions but Lucas doesn’t want to hear it. The tension is palpable, and though there’s still love between them, Lucas makes it clear he can’t trust Brad. They decide not to get back together. Curtis and Portia enjoy some private time together, but Curtis gets a call from Laura. She asks him to come by her apartment.
Meanwhile, Drew visits Portia at GH, but she tells him to schedule an appointment. He blocks her exit when she tries to leave.
At the pier, Jason questions Sidwell about the explosion at Sonny's penthouse. Sidwell denies any involvement and insists he doesn’t want any trouble with Sonny. Jason holsters his gun and reiterates his warning to stay away from Sasha. Anna, who has been keeping Sidwell under surveillance, appears just as Sidwell leaves for his boat. She advises Jason to stay away from Sidwell to avoid getting arrested.
Emma meets Gio outside the stables and confides in him about the internship offer. Inside, Dante and Cody continue discussing Dante’s unresolved feelings about Sam. Cody reassures Dante, but Dante admits that while he can talk to Brook Lynn easily, it still causes tension with Lulu. Their conversation is interrupted when Gio and Emma enter the stables.
Lulu, attempting to break into Martin’s room at the Metro Court, is stopped by Maxie. Maxie assumes Lulu is role-playing but agrees to be a lookout while Lulu searches the room. However, Lulu accidentally spills Martin’s briefcase of papers just as Martin arrives at the door, catching Maxie off guard.
Curtis heads to Laura’s apartment, where she shares some good news: the original Esplanade project is back on. Curtis credits Stella for helping make it happen, and he’s done with battling Drew. But Drew, not ready to give up, confronts Portia with evidence to blackmail her.
Meanwhile, Sasha contacts Sidwell and accepts his offer.
