Enter Kelsey, the scammer who once tried to steal their house. She's roped into pretending to be the silent investor, but it quickly becomes clear that her old con artist instincts are still very much intact. What starts as a way to solve their problem turns into a bigger mess when Kelsey gets more involved than expected, plotting to take advantage of Mark. Sam and Jay realize they’ve made a huge mistake and eventually have to come clean. Sam admits the truth to Mark—that Jay’s father is the real investor—and while Mark is angry, it ultimately leads to a shift in the power dynamics of the project. Isaac decides to take a step back and reevaluate how decisions should be made, pushing for a more balanced approach.
In a parallel storyline, Hetty uncovers a shocking family secret. She has Irish ancestry, completely overturning her lifelong belief that she was British. Sam digs into Hetty’s family tree, revealing the truth, which Hetty initially struggles to accept. It turns out that her ancestor was embarrassed by her Irish roots, adding another layer of complexity to Hetty’s feelings of identity. The ghosts rally around her, offering their support, with Pete even trying to comfort her by playing "Orinoco Flow" by Enya. Hetty, however, becomes more intrigued by Colin Farrell, adding a hilarious twist to the situation. The discovery of her Irish roots leads to a moment of reflection for Hetty, and it’s clear that this new chapter in her character will open doors for future storylines.

The chaos surrounding the silent investor situation is both funny and tense, with the ghosts' interactions providing some of the best moments of the episode. Hetty’s discovery about her heritage adds a personal touch to the show, giving her character a fresh layer of depth and a new path to explore. What stands out in this episode is how the series continues to tackle themes of identity and self-perception, while maintaining the perfect blend of humor and heart.
I really enjoyed the humor in this episode—especially Hetty’s reaction to her Irish heritage. It was a funny and unexpected twist, and seeing her flustered about Colin Farrell just added to her charm. The storyline with Kelsey was a fun reminder of how far Sam and Jay have come, yet it also showed how easily things can spiral when you're trying to keep up a lie. It was a little chaotic, but that’s what made it so enjoyable. Overall, a great return for the show, and I’m excited to see where both Hetty and the restaurant storyline go from here!
