Ghosts Season 4, Episode 15, titled "The Bachelorette Party," delivers a solid blend of humor, heart, and suspense, proving why the show continues to captivate audiences.
The episode kicks off with Alberta's descendant, Alicia, hosting her bachelorette party at the Woodstone Mansion. Which gives the perfect excuse for Chris the dinosaur loving stripper to come back to the mansion. This setting provides a perfect opportunity for both comedic moments and deeper character exploration, particularly for Alberta, who becomes suspicious of Alicia’s fiancé, a musician. Given Alberta's own complicated history with men in the music scene, her concerns add an emotional layer to the story. It’s an interesting exploration of trust, relationship dynamics, and how personal past experiences shape one's perceptions of the present.
When Alberta first gives us a glimpse into her past, she hints that it was her fiancé that went away to chase his dreams and left her high and dry but in fact she was the one that left causing her to always doubt musicians. Her doubts then in fact cause her to overreact to an interaction between Derek (Alicia's fiancé) and a bridesmaid. Sass enters Alicia's dreams to warn her that Derek may be cheating after Sam refuses to get involved. When Alicia talks to her bridesmaid about it we learn that she is Derek's sister and Alberta and the gang realize how bad they messed up. When Alberta attempts to fix it we get a heartwarming moment of her using her ghosts powers of humming to give Alicia a sign to go through with the marriage. I loved it.
Meanwhile, the human characters, Jay and Samantha, have their own moments in the spotlight. Jay’s excitement over receiving a positive review for his restaurant brings some lightheartedness to the episode, but still full of ghostly drama. Trevor bribed a journalist to write Jay a positive review after Jay helped him keep his job. After Jay clears everything up with the journalist and gets him to rewrite his review, it is still positive. This small victory for Jay helps to balance the intensity of the main plot and gives fans a glimpse into the more grounded aspects of the show.
The supporting cast, as always, brings their A-game. From Hetty’s classic snarky charm to Sasappis and Trevor’s antics, the ghosts continue to provide plenty of comic relief. The chemistry between the ensemble cast remains one of the strongest aspects of Ghosts, with each character finding their own moments to shine, even in an episode that primarily revolves around Alberta. I also loved the banter between Flower and Sass all episode with Flower pointing out that Sass is a virgin.

In the final moments of the episode, Chris the stripper parachutes from a plan to kick off the party in a "raining men" theme and crashes into the restaurant and dies on the property. But seriously did that just happen? We got a new ghost and its Isaac's crush?!? Things are about to get spicy at Woodstone. I cannot wait to see the dynamics between Chris, Isaac and his ex-fiancé Nigel.
"The Bachelorette Party" does an excellent job of balancing lighthearted fun with a touch of intrigue. Alberta’s growing suspicion of Alicia’s fiancé provides a great mix of character-driven tension and humor, while the side stories give ample space for the other characters to interact in meaningful ways. The episode maintains the show’s charm, offering a good blend of humor and heartfelt moments.
Overall, it’s a well-paced, entertaining episode that stays true to Ghosts’ winning formula, making it a worthwhile addition to the season.
