'Grey’s Anatomy' Casts Floriana Lima as a Friend of Owen

In the upcoming Season 21 of Grey’s Anatomy, the past is set to collide with the present for Dr. Owen Hunt. Floriana Lima, known for her role in A Million Little Things, has been cast as Nora, a childhood friend of Owen and his sister Megan. According to Deadline, Nora is a devoted mother and recent divorcée who is determined to persevere for her children and discover what lies ahead in her own life.

Nora's introduction on the show will come in the episode airing Thursday, October 3. Her storyline will involve dangerous complications arising from a routine surgery performed at a hospital other than Grey Sloan, setting the stage for dramatic developments.

In addition to her role in A Million Little Things, Floriana Lima is well-known for portraying Maggie Sawyer on Supergirl. In that role, she famously partnered with Chyler Leigh’s character, Alex Danvers, forming the fan-favorite supercouple #Sanvers.
