'Grotesquerie' & 'Monsters' Star Nicholas Alexander Chavez Signs With CAA

Nicholas Alexander Chavez has signed with CAA for representation, marking an exciting new chapter in his career. He stars as Lyle in the Netflix limited series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story, alongside an impressive cast including Javier Bardem and Chloë Sevigny.

Additionally, he can be seen in the newly premiered FX horror drama Grotesquerie, where he plays Father Charlie, sharing the screen with stars like Travis Kelce and Niecy Nash-Betts.

Before these roles, Chavez gained recognition for his portrayal of Spencer Cassadine on ABC's General Hospital, leaving the show earlier this year after his character’s dramatic storyline. It’s an exciting time for Chavez as he continues to take on diverse and compelling roles!

Chavez confirmed he will not be returning to General Hospital. In a heartfelt message on X, he expressed his gratitude for the opportunities the show provided, crediting the talented team behind it for his growth as an actor. Chavez highlighted his conversations with Executive Producer Frank Valentini, noting that while there are currently no plans for his return, discussions about future possibilities for his character, Spencer, are ongoing.

He also took a moment to thank the dedicated GH fanbase, especially the Sprina fans, for their unwavering support. Chavez continues to be represented by Felker, Toczek, Suddleson, McGinnis, Ryan LLP as he embarks on new projects, including his recent roles in Monsters and Grotesquerie.
