Inside Out 2 Sets Disney+ Streaming Date
Inside Out 2 really made a splash, both in theaters and now with its upcoming streaming release set for September 25th on Disney+ fans can experience the film again and again. It’s exciting to see a sequel achieve such record-breaking success, especially in the world of animation. Kelsey Mann’s directorial debut seems to have struck a chord with audiences globally.
Riley's transition into puberty presents a whole new set of challenges and emotions, which make for some fascinating storytelling. It’s clever to explore how her familiar emotions—Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust—deal with their own insecurities and adapt to Riley's changing needs.
Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, and Lewis Black were such a perfect fit for Joy, Sadness, and Anger in the first film and Diane Lane and Kyle MacLachlan are also back as Riley’s parents. The new additions to the cast bring a lot of talent and diversity, which add fresh dynamics to the story. Maya Hawke, Tony Hale, and Ayo Edebiri, among others, contribute new voices to Riley’s internal world and help expand the story with their new characters.
