James Gunn Shares First Look at Mystery Character in Peacemaker Season 2

On Wednesday, DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn intrigued Peacemaker fans by asking, "Who might this be?" as he unveiled the first glimpse of an unidentified Indigenous character set to appear in Season 2 of the Max original series.

Peacemaker premiered on Jan. 13, 2022, on what was then referred to as HBO Max, with its first season finale airing on Feb. 17.

In February 2022, Peacemaker was renewed for a second season, just hours before the conclusion of its first season. However, following Gunn's appointment as co-CEO of DC Studios alongside Peter Safran, he shifted his focus to writing and directing the first feature film in the new DC Universe, Superman.

Regarding how Peacemaker Season 2 will fit in with the new DCU that has evolved since Season 1, Gunn has reassured fans that he has a plan in place. He promised that it will not be confusing.
