Katherine Renee Kane Out at ‘FBI’: Won't Return In Season 7
Sources inform Deadline that Katherine Renee Turner will be leaving the FBI drama series on CBS during Season 7. It is understood that she will make at least one final appearance before her character, Special Agent Tiffany Wallace, departs.
Turner joined the show in the third season, taking over the role previously held by Ebonee Noel as Kristen Chazal. The reason for Turner's departure remains unknown.
Deadline announced earlier today that Lisette Olivera will be joining the show as Syd, a trained Behavioral Analysis Unit Agent who is set to become Scola's partner, filling the gap left by Tiffany. Despite Syd's background as a desk agent, her multifaceted personality and experience will enable her to seamlessly transition into the role of a field agent, according to production sources. (We reported on her casting here.)
Concluding its sixth season in May, FBI delves into the operations of the FBI's New York field office criminal division as they strive to maintain the safety of New York City and the nation.
The series features a cast that includes Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Alana De La Garza, John Boyd, and Katherine Renee Kane.
Produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with CBS Studios, the show's executive producers are Dick Wolf, Mike Weiss, Alex Chapple, Amanda Slater, Rick Eid, and Peter Jankowski.
