Lana Parrilla Joins the Cast of 'The Rainmaker'

TV fav Lana Parrilla, known for her role in Once Upon a Time, has been cast in USA Network's remake of John Grisham's The Rainmaker, taking on the character previously portrayed by Mickey Rourke in the 1997 movie.

The description: "The Rainmaker," Rudy Baylor, portrayed by Milo Callaghan from the "Dot & Bubble" episode of "Doctor Who," is a recent law school graduate who finds himself in a legal battle against the formidable Leo Drummond, played by John Slattery from "Mad Men," and his former law school girlfriend, Sarah, played by Madison Iseman from "I Know What You Did Last Summer." As the story unfolds, Rudy, his employer J. Lyman "Bruiser" Stone, and a scruffy paralegal discover two intertwined plots related to the suspicious death of their client's son.

The role of the paralegal has not been cast.
