Law & Order: OC Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio Joins Law & Order: OC Season 5

Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio is joining the cast of Law & Order: Organized Crime per Deadline.

Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio’s involvement in Law & Order: Organized Crime for Season 5 is a big win for the show. Her impressive acting skills will surely bring a new dynamic to the series. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of role she’ll play and how her character will interact with the existing cast.

She will appear as a character named Isabella Spezzano, who is characterized as "someone from Stabler's previous experiences."

Organized Crime starring Christopher Meloni as Elliot Stabler, is moving to Peacock for its fifth season following four seasons on NBC; no premiere date has been announced yet. Last month, Dean Norris, who played Stabler’s older brother Randall in the previous season, was promoted to a series regular.

Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio has had a remarkable career with a diverse array of roles. Her performance in Scarface and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves are iconic, and her Oscar-nominated role in The Color of Money is a standout. On TV, her portrayals of Madeline Burke in Blindspot and FBI agent Naz Bouran in Limitless were memorable.

Her previous role as NYPD Captain Zoe Callas in Law & Order: Criminal Intent ties her well into the Law & Order universe, making her return to the franchise in Organized Crime even more intriguing. It’ll be interesting to see how her new character contrasts with or complements her past roles within the series. What kind of character are you hoping to see her play this time around?
