The tension continues to rise as Joe faces a life-threatening injury—she’s shot in the abdomen, and the race against time begins. This moment left me on the edge of my seat, not knowing whether Joe would pull through. Her calm, almost resigned phone call to Kaitlyn, where she confesses that she believes she’s about to die, is one of the most gut-wrenching moments of the episode. It really underscores the physical and emotional toll these women are facing in this line of work.
The episode also explores a growing sense of paranoia within the team. Kyle and Bobby suspect a mole is leaking information, and they take matters into their own hands by questioning the new special agent who gave Joe the intel. This added layer of uncertainty makes things even more gripping—who can they trust? Who’s working for whom? It’s a question that hangs in the air throughout the episode, and the interrogation scene was a tense, uncomfortable watch, especially as the team threatens their captive agent with physical harm.

Lioness continues to deliver high-stakes action, compelling personal dilemmas, and unexpected twists that keep us hooked. There’s so much at play here—the personal sacrifices, the sense of betrayal, and the loyalty to a cause that is becoming increasingly murky.
In my opinion, Lioness excels in balancing the personal and professional stakes of these characters. The emotional weight of each decision they make is clear, and it’s hard not to feel for them as they navigate a world of dangerous operations, shifting allegiances, and constant threats. Episode 6 was a reminder of how fragile life is in this line of work and how quickly things can spiral out of control.
