The ABC game show Lucky 13 isn't so lucky: the series has been cancelled after just one season.
As reported by Deadline, which first broke the news, Lucky 13 failed to generate enough advertising revenue during its first season to justify a renewal. Studio 1, the producer behind the show, has decided not to move forward with a second season.
An ABC spokesperson mentioned that while Lucky 13 could potentially return in a different format, there are no current plans for its revival.
Co-hosted by NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal and Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez, Lucky 13 featured contestants answering 13 true-or-false trivia questions, followed by predictions on how well they did, with the goal of unlocking a $1 million jackpot. The show’s 10-episode first (and now only) season wrapped up on September 19.
