However, there’s potential for growth, especially with a related documentary set to air on October 7 featuring new interviews with the Menendez brothers. This could certainly drive more viewers to the series.
As with Dahmer, the Menendez Story has faced scrutiny regarding its depiction of the brothers and the infamous 1989 murder of their parents. Murphy has addressed the backlash by emphasizing the diverse perspectives included in the narrative.
