New Faces, Twists, and Beloved Characters Return for Miss Scarlet Season 6: Exciting Updates!

Excitement is in the air as Miss Scarlet prepares for its sixth season. The beloved PBS period crime drama has officially been renewed for six new episodes, giving fans the chance to immerse themselves once again in Eliza Scarlet's captivating world. With filming set to commence in Belgrade, Serbia, audiences are eager to uncover the stories waiting to unfold for their favorite characters.


The official description for Season 6 hints at a season bursting with evolution and intrigue. "As Eliza and Blake’s once-fraught relationship begins to evolve, they find that working together may be a tricky prospect," reads the statement. This hints at personal growth and challenges that will truly test their detective abilities—set to come alive in episodes filled with tension and dynamic storytelling.





Fans can expect major developments. Newlyweds Ivy and Potts will tackle the ups and downs of married life, including conflicts over household responsibilities. A new detective will adapt to the fast-paced environment of Scotland Yard. Meanwhile, Nash, even from afar, will create chaos, making sure his influence is felt even though he’s miles away, perhaps using cunning schemes to impact Eliza's investigative work.


Fans can breathe a sigh of relief—Kate Phillips will reprise her role as Eliza Scarlet. Alongside her, Tom Durant-Pritchard will return as DI Alexander Blake, and Cathy Belton is back as Ivy, ready to inject passion and energy into their roles once again. Viewers will also see Paul Bazely (Clarence), Simon Ludders (Mr. Potts), Tim Chipping (Detective Phelps), and Ansu Kabia as Moses, who is expected to have a vital role when Eliza and her team face their most challenging cases.


Alongside returning favorites, Season 6 will introduce some exciting new characters. Sam Buchanan, known for his impactful work in EastEnders, will take on the role of Detective George Willows. His ambitious rise through the police ranks will no doubt bring fresh drama to the storyline. Grace Hogg-Robinson, celebrated for her role in The Coroner, will portray Isabel Summers, a new Clerical Office member who aims to climb the career ladder alongside Ivy.
