Nicholas Pryor, of 90210, Port Charles, and Risky Business, Has Died at Age 89

Nicholas Pryor, recognized by TV viewers for his appearances in Beverly Hills, 90210 and the General Hospital spinoff Port Charles, as well as remembered as the father in Risky Business and a passenger in Airplane!, passed away on Oct. 7 in the presence of his loved ones. He was 89.

The cause of his death has not been disclosed.

Pryor's on-screen son from Port Charles, Jon Lindstrom, announced the sad news on Instagram, praising Pryor as "a true actor's actor and an exceptional friend."

Aside from his roles as Victor Collins in Port Charles (where he portrayed the father of twins Kevin and Ryan) and Chancellor Arnold in 90210, Pryor had a wide range of television credits that included, among others, the characters Tom Baxter in Another World, appearances in Love Is a Many Splendored Thing, The Nurses, The Edge of Night, Washington: Behind Closed Doors, Eight Is Enough, and The Bronx Zoo.
