Omari Hardwick Stars in Drama ‘No Right Way’ From Anthony Hemingway

Omari Hardwick is set to star in No Right Way, a new drama that delves into themes of redemption and personal transformation. This project reunites Hardwick with Anthony Hemingway, who directed him in the pilot for Power.

The film is based on Terrence Gallman’s book Finding Me and follows Saleem, a young man who faces significant challenges from a young age. As he navigates the responsibilities of supporting his family and dealing with personal losses, Saleem’s journey from the streets to Wall Street is fraught with adversity. His success is threatened by hubris, leading him to a period of incarceration where he confronts his past mistakes and seeks redemption.

The film explores family, sacrifice, and personal growth, aiming to resonate with audiences through its universal themes and the setting in South Carolina. The film will be co-written and directed by Hemingway, known for his work on Red Tails and various acclaimed TV series including True Lies, Genius: Aretha, and American Crime Story. Hemingway’s production company, Anthony Hemingway Productions, is behind the project.

Hardwick will also serve as an executive producer through his Bravelife Productions. He is best known for his role as James “Ghost” St. Patrick in Power and has appeared in The Mother, Army of the Dead, and Kick-Ass.

Hemingway’s production company is collaborating with a range of investment leaders to support the film and promote financial inclusion in the industry. The goal is to create impactful content while addressing criminal justice reform and providing opportunities for underrepresented communities.

No Right Way promises to be a powerful narrative exploring personal redemption and societal themes, making it a significant addition to both Hardwick’s and Hemingway’s bodies of work.
