RuPaul’s Drag Race and All Stars Renewed
RuPaul’s Drag Race continues its successful run, as MTV has officially renewed the reality competition series for a seventeenth season. TVLine has confirmed that new episodes of Untucked will also be part of the upcoming season.
Furthermore, Paramount+ has greenlit the milestone tenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, along with new episodes of All Stars: Untucked.
More information, including premiere dates and casting details for both Drag Race Season 17 and All Stars 10, will be revealed in the coming months.
Season 16 of Drag Race concluded in April with Nymphia Wind being crowned America’s Next Drag Superstar. Sapphira Cristál secured the second spot, while Plane Jane finished in third place.
The ninth season of All Stars, the first time the returning queens competed for charitable causes, concluded last month with Angeria Paris VanMicheals winning the crown. Runners-up included Roxxxy Andrews and Vanessa Vanjie.
The newest addition to the Drag Race franchise, RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars, started streaming on Aug. 16, with new episodes releasing every Friday on Paramount+. This international competition brings together 12 queens from around the world, competing for a $200,000 grand prize and the title of “Queen of the Mothertucking World.” Since its debut in 2009, Drag Race has won 30 Primetime Emmy Awards.
