This week, we found ourselves facing an impossible task—choosing just one standout performer. After watching the incredible talent displayed in the soaps, we realized we couldn’t narrow it down. So, for this week, our Performer(s) of the
Week honors go to Mrs. Susan Seaforth-Hayes and Mr. Tajh Bellow.
Both actors delivered emotionally charged performances that deeply resonated with us. Their portrayals of grief were raw, real, and unforgettable.
Susan Seaforth-Hayes brought quiet despair and vulnerability to her role as a woman mourning the love of her life—a love story that has spanned decades, both on and off screen. The eulogy she delivered was nothing short of breathtaking, leaving us in tears. Knowing that Susan is grieving her real-life husband, whom she met on Days of Our Lives, made the scene all the more poignant. It felt like a moment suspended in time, where the lines between fiction and reality blurred. The pain she conveyed was so authentic that it seemed the cast and characters were grieving alongside her. You could see her character Julie’s gratitude for the love and support of those around her, even as the deep ache of her loss remained.
Tajh Bellow also delivered a stunning performance as TJ, who wrestled with overwhelming grief. We watched him navigate the heartbreak of losing a child and the unraveling of a relationship he had cherished since childhood. His emotions were palpable—from the tears streaming down his face as he realized his relationship might not survive, to the raw anger he expressed at the lack of answers for his child’s death. Tajh showed incredible range, embodying sadness, frustration, and vulnerability. Whether venting to his mom and uncle or confiding in his friend Lucas, TJ’s pain felt authentic and deeply relatable.
Bravo to both Mrs. Seaforth-Hayes and Mr. Bellow for delivering performances that moved us to our core. You made us feel so much that we had family members checking to see if we were okay. This week, you reminded us of the power of storytelling.
Three snaps and a standing ovation!
