Suits L.A. Gets Premiere Date and Arc from OG

Gabriel Macht is set to reprise his iconic role as Harvey Specter in a guest-starring arc on NBC’s upcoming Suits L.A. spinoff.

While NBC has not officially confirmed Macht’s involvement, the actor teased fans with an Instagram video of himself suiting up, fueling excitement for his return.

As first reported by Deadline, Macht will appear as Harvey Specter in a three-episode arc, though this is not expected to develop into a full-time role.

Suits L.A., premiering Sunday, February 23, at 9/8c, is set in the same universe as the original USA Network series. The show follows Ted Black (played by Arrow alum Stephen Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York who has reinvented himself as a legal powerhouse representing Los Angeles' elite clients. Co-starring with Amell is The Walking Dead alum Josh McDermitt as Stuart Lane, Ted’s partner in building their L.A.-based firm.

The series-regular cast also includes Lex Scott Davis (The L Word: Generation Q) as Erica Rollins, a sharp and ambitious rising star at the firm, and Bryan Greenberg (One Tree Hill) as Rick Dodsen, Ted’s protégé in the entertainment law division.

Macht’s former Suits co-star Patrick J. Adams (Mike Ross) recently expressed his openness to joining the spinoff, telling TVLine: “I’ve offered my services at all times. I love [creator] Aaron Korsh and that world; it changed my whole life.”
