The Cleaning Lady Season 4 Casts Yancey Arias as Recurring Villain, Recasts Role of Luca

Updated: Nov 11

The Cleaning Lady is set for a significant change in its upcoming fourth season as it introduces new characters to the cast, including a fresh antagonist who will bring more challenges for Thony.

Yancey Arias, best known for his role as Mayor Hector Ramos on Bosch, will be joining the series in a recurring role as Neto, a ruthless hitman and senior member of the cartel, as confirmed by TVLine. Neto will make his first appearance in the season premiere as an intimidating sicario with a cold, merciless approach to his work.

Despite his brutal demeanor, Neto also acts as a paternal figure to Jorge (Santiago Cabrera), having mentored him in violence since a young age. With his dangerous expertise and unwavering allegiance to the cartel, Neto poses a significant threat to Thony and her family. Arias is no stranger to portraying villainous characters, having previously starred as the nefarious General Alberto Cortez in Queen of the South, and more recently appearing in guest roles on Magnum P.I., Law & Order: Organized Crime, and Will Trent.

Alongside this new menacing addition, The Cleaning Lady will also be recasting the role of Thony’s son, Luca. After being portrayed by twins Sebastien and Valentino LaSalle in the initial three seasons, Luca will now be played by newcomer Khalen Roman Sanchez, who will be a series regular on the show.

The significant shift in the show’s plotline follows the Season 3 finale, where Jorge was left in charge of the cartel following his sister Ramona’s arrest. Despite offering Thony a position within the cartel for her family's protection, she declined, only to later receive a chilling message from Derek, one of Ramona’s associates, which she chose to ignore.

The Cleaning Lady will make its highly anticipated return to Fox for the fourth season in 2025, with The Blacklist alum Daniel Cerone taking over as the new showrunner. Cerone replaces Miranda Kwok and Jeannine Renshaw, who previously served as co-showrunners. Fans can anticipate an exciting new chapter as the tension escalates for Thony and her inner circle.
